The core sound is very close to the classic NYC Big Muff Pi but the level of adaptability put this Big Muff in a league of its own. Extra mid-control capabilities The Deluxe Big Muff Pi features new mid-control boost and cut alongside a Q-control and frequency control to fully utilise and sweep the mid-range. This provides you with extensive mid-control and can be manipulated even further by the use of an external expression pedal; giving you the ability to create wah-like sweeps controlled via your foot. A new bass-boost switch is available when you need it and is particularly useful when dialling-in more Russian-esque tones with pronounced mid and bass response. Attack & sustain The familiar Sustain control from the original Big Muff Pi allows you to shape your classic distorted tone just like the original.
