Fortunately Tech 21 have revived that sought after circuit and reintroduced it as the “YYZ Shape-Shifter” which grants you the same sweet tones in a standard (but still incredibly cool) finish. From clean to crunch Lee’s favourite bass tones are packed into this compact box and are easily selectable through the versatile “Mix” control. From the left side it will set a completely clean and crisp studio-level tone but as you push it further to the right it’ll steadily increase the drive to evoke classic dirty bass tube amps with a thunderous growl. Alongside the Mix setting are a three band EQ Drive and Master volume controls to easily sculpt the sound.
