A new mechanism allows the battery compartment to be easily removed for quick and easy replacement. The battery cover simply slides over the entire body eliminating the risk misplace. Suitable For Any Instrument The CA-2 features a high-sensitivity built-in microphone and accommodates a variety of A0-C8 allowing speedy and high-precision tuning of wind string keyboard and other instruments. For added versatility an optional CM-200 contact microphone (sold separately) can be used to send the vibrations directly to the tuner for even more accurate tuning. Pure Major Third & Minor Third Markings Inaccuracies of the harmonies in a triad are particularly easy to notice when played by a brass band or orchestra and by adjusting the pitch of a major or minor third relative to the equal-tempered interval an excellent third can be reached. From precise intonation the meter scale of the CA-2 includes markings to indicate pure major and minor thirds relative to a specified pitch. By tuning the instrument to these markings players can achieve beautiful pure harmonies when playing in group applications. If thats not enough the CA-2 also offers an adjustable calibration function of 410 to 480 Hz which can be adjusted in 1 Hz steps for accurate and flexible tuning to any song or key.
