Description

ESP's '87 Series celebrates a time when guitars couldn't be louder — both sonically and aesthetically! This purple-finished M-1 Custom is a faithful recreation of one of ESP's earliest models, and really ought to come with a pair of matching spandex shorts! Essentially a "Super-Strat", this guitar boasts plenty of high-performance features that modern rock and metal players are sure to enjoy.

The M-1's neck-thru design with an Alder body and a 3-piece Maple neck yields a vibrant, mid-focused sound that's guaranteed to cut through in a band mix with singing sustain. Throw in the devastating Seymour Duncan Distortion humbucker along with a Floyd Rose 1000 double-locking tremolo, and you've got yourself a supercharged shred machine that will never fail to stand out on stage!

They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

S Style Electric Guitars

S style electric guitars are known for their comfortable contours, versatile tones, and expressive playability. Typically featuring a double-cutaway body and a vibrato bridge, they offer easy access to higher frets and a naturally balanced feel whether standing or seated. Their pickup configurations often favour clarity and articulation, making them well suited to clean sounds, edge-of-breakup tones, and expressive lead playing, while still handling heavier styles with the right setup. S style guitars are valued for their responsiveness to touch and dynamics, making them a popular choice for players who want an instrument that feels fluid, familiar, and adaptable across a wide range of music.
