Description

The Ibanez Pentatone Equalizer is a standalone version of the 5-band equalizer section in the Ibanez Pentatone Preamp.

Adding a continuously variable Q control on each band, which allows for a wider variety of sound creation, which enables even more detailed sound creation. For a wider headroom,  the ±9V power supply circuitry gives you the option to power at higher levels to let you experiment with the tonal possibilities.

That makes the parametric equalizer suitable for not only electric guitars but also higher-level output signal equipment such as electric bass guitars and keyboards.

Key Features

  • Dial in the Exact EQ Needed – Continuously variable Q control on each band.
  • Control the Signal Level – The Master level control can adjust the overall signal level from -∞dB to +6dB.
  • True Bypass – The PTEQ will not colour your tone in any way, resulting in a high-definition tone, altered exactly how you want!

EQ Pedals

Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.
