Here's what Pedal Pawn say about the Octone Octave Fuzz Pedal

To put it bluntly, we’ve spent thousands on both new & VINTAGE octave fuzz’s – in search of the holy grail! To our ears, we deemed a very rare vintage 1970’s Octavia the gold standard for its SPOOKY magic. Once faithfully recreating the voodoo of that FAT circuit, we souped up the parameters to also fulfil the ULTRA clean octave settings that are desired by so many. We can now proudly present the highly requested – Pedal Pawn ® Octone ™

  • Immensely CLEAN & CLEAR octave
  • Retains HIGH octave with the boost cranked!
  • Maintains PRONOUNCED octave below 12th fret
  • Hand-selected components including NOS Germanium Diodes w/ transformer
  • Handcrafted in the UK
  • Loud output levels to cut through the mix
  • Standard 9v power input
  • True bypass switching

Fuzz

Fuzz is one of the earliest and most distinctive guitar effects, known for its thick, gritty, and saturated tone that completely transforms your sound. It works by heavily clipping the audio signal, producing a raw, almost broken distortion that defined the sound of the ’60s and ’70s rock era. Classic pedals like the Fuzz Face and Big Muff became legendary for their roaring sustain and rich harmonic texture. Modern fuzz pedals range from vintage-style warmth to wild, synth-like chaos, making them perfect for players who want to add character, attitude, and a touch of chaos to their tone.

Octave

An octave effect shifts the guitar signal up or down by one or more octaves and blends it with the original sound. It is used to add thickness, create bass-like lines, or produce higher, harmonised tones, making it popular for lead playing, riffs, and creative sound design.
