The Fuzz Pedals department take a look at this New Fuzz , the Wampler Cryptid Fuzz by Wampler Pedals is New, it is in stock at a great price and delivered to all areas of the UK. Read More for more product information, images, latest prices and how to order. The Wampler Ratsbane Distortion is a full-range distortion pedal that can go from creamy smooth drive to full-blown fuzzy dirt. This versatile little gain machine features an improved filter control the further you crank it the more cutting your tone becomes- from a warm creamy response to a more piercing high-frequency attack. As the name suggests this was designed to become your main distortion pedal; sheer versatility and its rich rounded tone guarantees this will be the case. It wouldnt be a Wampler pedal without a few intuitive additions to the circuitry though: in this case two new toggle switches help bring the thunder. On the left is Gain which alters your gain stages: flick left for a firmer tighter response flick right for a creamier smoother response. On the right is Voice which subtly alters the clipping and compression to deliver more modern high-gain tones. Get experimenting to find your ideal combination.

Fuzz

Fuzz is one of the earliest and most distinctive guitar effects, known for its thick, gritty, and saturated tone that completely transforms your sound. It works by heavily clipping the audio signal, producing a raw, almost broken distortion that defined the sound of the ’60s and ’70s rock era. Classic pedals like the Fuzz Face and Big Muff became legendary for their roaring sustain and rich harmonic texture. Modern fuzz pedals range from vintage-style warmth to wild, synth-like chaos, making them perfect for players who want to add character, attitude, and a touch of chaos to their tone.
