The Synergy SYN-1 is a compact road-ready preamp housing designed to unlock the full flexibility of the Synergy modular system. Simply load in any Synergy preamp module and the SYN-1 becomes a powerful two-channel valve preamp capable of delivering world-class boutique amp tones directly to your recording interface PA system or powered monitor. With both XLR and 1/4″ direct outputs including a built-in high-quality cabinet simulation the SYN-1 provides genuine tube-driven tone without the need for a full amplifier rig. Players who prefer their own impulse responses can bypass the cab sim entirely ensuring full control over their sound. A Fryette-designed Sag control on the front panel adds the dynamic feel of a pushed valve power section while the onboard effects loop makes it easy to integrate both rack and pedal effects. Connected via the 3-cable method the SYN-1 can also transform any amplifier with a series effects loop into a multi-channel boutique tone machine bypassing the amps preamp and giving complete control to the module you choose.
