Gibson J-185 Century 12-Fret Vintage Sunburst is an acoustic guitar.

Description

The Gibson J-185 Century 12-Fret in Vintage Sunburst delivers a full-bodied acoustic voice with the added warmth and responsiveness of a 12-fret design. Built with a Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides this jumbo acoustic produces a balanced yet powerful tone with strong projection and clarity. The shift to a 12-fret neck moves the bridge closer to the centre of the top helping the soundboard resonate more efficiently enhancing resonance tone and responsiveness as well as playing comfort. The mahogany neck features a SlimTaper 12-fret profile and is joined using a traditional dovetail joint for solid construction and a comfortable feel. A rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays offers a smooth playing surface while the 24.75″ scale length supports easy fretting and control. Vintage-inspired details including open-back Golden Age tuners a sloped rectangle rosewood bridge and an oval teardrop pickguard complete the build. Designed for expressive playing this J-185 delivers warmth clarity and dynamic response across a wide range of styles.
