The Gibson Custom 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue is a meticulously crafted tribute to a truly legendary guitar. Featuring a 2-piece figured maple top lightweight mahogany body and Indian rosewood fingerboard it offers timeless looks with unmatched vintage tone. The 50s Rounded Medium C neck and long tenon joint deliver authentic feel and sustain while the Murphy Lab Ultra Light Aged finish gives it the worn-in character of a cherished original. Equipped with unpotted Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups this reissue captures the rich dynamic voice of late-50s Les Pauls. From period-correct plastics and hardware to hand-applied nitrocellulose lacquer every detail has been carefully recreated. Finished in Sunrise Teaburst and housed in a Lifton-style case youll never want to stop playing this beauty.
