Built by the Gibson Custom Shop with incredible attention to detail it nails every element of the original 59 from its hide-glued maple top and lightweight mahogany body to the authentic medium-jumbo frets and vintage-correct hardware. The Murphy Lab Heavy Aged finish adds decades of road-worn character giving this guitar the look feel and vibe of a true golden-era icon thats been loved and played hard. This particular guitar tips the scales at just 8.42lb offering that solid Les Paul sustain without the weight being overwhelming. Its 50s Rounded Medium C neck profile is as comfortable as it is classic while the Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups deliver rich dynamic tones full of warmth and bite.
