Description
The Gibson Custom Shop 1959 ES-330 Reissue captures the debut year of one of Gibsons most distinctive hollowbody designs delivering a rich open voice with unmistakable vintage character. Built with a fully hollow three-ply maple and poplar body and no centre block it produces a lively resonant tone with impressive acoustic presence. The gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish paired with VOS-treated hardware recreates the look and feel of a well-preserved original from the late 50s. A one-piece mahogany neck shaped to an authentic 59 profile offers a comfortable slightly fuller feel paired with a bound rosewood fretboard featuring period-correct dot inlays. With the neck joining the body at the 16th fret it stays true to original construction for accurate feel and response. Loaded with a pair of Dogear P-90 pickups this ES-330 delivers everything from warm articulate cleans to gritty expressive overdrive making it a versatile choice across a wide range of styles.
