Description

The Orange PPC112 12" speaker cabinet is one of the best on the market… better yet, this speaker cabinet is loaded with a Celesion Vintage 30. In this case the cabinet looks small…but the sound is HUGE!

Orange Amps started as the 'Orange Musical Instrument Shop' back in 1968. Orange Amplification founder Cliff Cooper has provided amps to many artists over the years, starting with Fleetwood Mac and then a whole host of well known bands – Black Sabbath, T Rex, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, James Brown, BB Kink, U2 and ZZ top just to name a few! Orange electric guitar amps have a very British sound and are tube powered.

Note: The Celestion Vintage 30 is often found in many 2X12 or 4X12 cabinets, that's partially why this cabinet is so amazing… Finally a Vintage 30 in a 1X12 configuration!

It starts with the passion and the sound is brought to life with the speaker. (Celestion Vintage 30 12" Speaker)

Many manufacturers compromise their cabinets by using inexpensive speakers, Orange does not and when you plug this cabinet in you can hear the difference. After all, it's the speakers that turn your playing into the sound you actually hear.

Orange carefully selects the finest speakers from the world's best manufacturers to ensure that your amplifier's tone is never compromised!

Durability aside, the obvious advantage of denser materials is to aid in thickening your amplifier's sound and improving speaker projection. Orange cabinets feature an 18ply birch plywood shell.

Amp Cabinets

A speaker cabinet is responsible for turning your amplifier’s power into the sound you actually hear, and it plays a huge role in the overall feel and character of your tone. Different cabinet sizes, speaker types, and configurations can affect everything from low-end punch to clarity and projection. Cabinets can be open-back or closed-back, single or multi-speaker, each offering a distinct response and spread in a room. Whether paired with a powerful amp head or a compact setup, the right speaker cabinet helps define how your guitar sits in a mix and how it feels to play.

Amps

Guitar amps cover everything needed to amplify, shape, and project your guitar sound, from small practice setups to full stage and studio rigs. In this category you’ll find combo amps, separate amp heads and speaker cabinets, covering valve, solid-state, and hybrid designs, each offering a different feel and response. You’ll also see modelling and digital amps, built-in effects, footswitches, attenuation solutions, replacement speakers, valves, and essential accessories to keep an amp performing at its best. Whether you’re chasing pristine cleans, classic crunch, or modern high-gain tones, guitar amps and related gear are all about finding the right balance of power, tone, and control for the way you play.

1×12

1×12 refers to a speaker configuration with one 12-inch speaker, most commonly found in guitar amplifiers and speaker cabinets. It offers a balanced combination of clarity, low-end response, and projection, making it a versatile choice for both home use and live performance.

Compared to smaller speaker setups, a 1×12 delivers a fuller sound with more body, while remaining more compact and portable than larger multi-speaker cabinets. It is popular with players who want strong tone and punch without the weight and volume of a 2×12 or 4×12 setup.

Amp

An amp is an amplifier used to boost the signal from a guitar and shape its overall tone and volume. It plays a major role in how a guitar sounds, influencing everything from clean clarity to natural overdrive and distortion, and is a core part of any guitar setup for both practice and live performance.
