Description

Here’s what Orange says about the Oriverb Orianthi Signature Valve Combo Amp –

Designed and built by Orange UK in collaboration with celebrated guitarist and solo artist Orianthi—the all-new Oriverb is born. This signature combo is inspired by the popular Rockerverb MKIII 50 NEO Combo, and has been voiced to capture her “dream tone” as well as an elegant, timeless look. The 2×12 combo is fitted with a pair of Celestion Creambacks and EL34 valves to produce that undeniable British amp flavour while offering ample versatility that can conquer a wide variety of playing situations. Orianthi chose a combo for its direct sound and immediate interaction between guitar, amp and player. Plus, the portable, gig-ready unit features plenty of ways to Colour Your Tone including clean and dirty EQ settings, reverb and built-in attenuation. The Oriverb is wrapped in a unique, white pattern-embossed Tolex with black grill cover featuring the unmistakable Orange crest. A white enamel control plate is highlighted with gold accents and Orange’s trademark hieroglyphic-style icons. Tailor-made for pros and those that appreciate world-class tone and build quality, the Oriverb is a go-to choice for stage and studio.

Amps

Guitar amps cover everything needed to amplify, shape, and project your guitar sound, from small practice setups to full stage and studio rigs. In this category you’ll find combo amps, separate amp heads and speaker cabinets, covering valve, solid-state, and hybrid designs, each offering a different feel and response. You’ll also see modelling and digital amps, built-in effects, footswitches, attenuation solutions, replacement speakers, valves, and essential accessories to keep an amp performing at its best. Whether you’re chasing pristine cleans, classic crunch, or modern high-gain tones, guitar amps and related gear are all about finding the right balance of power, tone, and control for the way you play.

Combo Amps

Combo amps combine an amplifier and speaker into a single, self-contained unit, making them a practical and popular choice for many players. They’re easy to transport, simple to set up, and available in a wide range of power ratings, from small practice amps to powerful stage-ready models. Combo amps come in valve, solid-state, hybrid, and digital designs, often with built-in effects and tone controls. Their all-in-one nature makes them ideal for home use, rehearsals, recording, and live performance where convenience and reliable tone matter.

2×12

2×12 refers to a speaker configuration using two 12-inch speakers, commonly found in guitar amplifier cabinets. This setup delivers a bigger, fuller sound than a single speaker, with increased low-end response, projection, and overall volume.

A 2×12 cabinet offers a strong balance between power and portability, providing much of the depth and punch of larger cabinets without the size and weight of a 4×12. It is popular for live performance and studio use, especially with high-powered amp heads and driven tones.

It plays a major role in how a guitar sounds, influencing everything from clean clarity to natural overdrive and distortion, and is a core part of any guitar setup for both practice and live performance.
