Description

The StageBug SB-2 is a high quality passive DI suitable for high output instruments like bass guitar and keyboards.

The SB-2 is ultra compact, meaning that you can keep it with all your accessories in your instrument bag. It simply plugs into your instrument providing the link to your mixer and converting to a line level with the passive circuitry giving a warm sound with saturated transients and low level distortion on the hottest of transients. There’s also a Pad switch to easily handle the super hot instruments, and a polarity reverse switch to negotiate faze problems.

As with all Radial DI’s the StageBug is built to withstand the rigours of a life on the road. A 14-gauge steel frame with a book-end design perfectly protects the precious components and connections for a long and healthy life.

Bass Guitars

Bass guitars form the backbone of a band’s sound, sitting between rhythm and harmony to give music depth, weight, and movement. Available in electric and acoustic forms, they focus on delivering strong, controlled low frequencies while remaining clear and responsive to playing dynamics. Factors like scale length, string type, and pickup design all influence tone and feel, allowing bass guitars to suit a wide range of styles and techniques. Whether laying down solid grooves or exploring more melodic lines, a good bass guitar anchors the music and brings everything together.

Distortion

Distortion pedals deliver the raw, aggressive edge that defines rock and metal, transforming your clean tone into something powerful and full of attitude. By pushing your signal into rich harmonic saturation, they create thick, sustaining sounds that cut through any mix. From classic crunchy riffs to high-gain modern mayhem, distortion pedals give you total control over how wild or tight your tone gets. Whether you’re crafting searing leads or heavy rhythm walls, they’re an essential tool for adding energy, bite, and character to your playing.
