Orange PPC412 Speaker Cabinet

Orange Amps started as the ‘Orange Musical Instrument Shop’ back in 1968.

Orange Amplification founder Cliff Cooper has provided amps to many artists over the years, starting with Fleetwood Mac and then a whole host of well known bands – Black Sabbath, T Rex, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, James Brown, BB Kink, U2 and ZZ top just to name a few!

Orange electric guitar amps have a very British sound and are tube powered.

The Orange 4X12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet 240 Watts, 4 X 12 Speaker Configuration, Celestion Vintage 30 Speakers, 16 Ohms Impedance, 1/4″ Jack. Input. Do your amp justice.

The Orange 4X12 Cab only uses the Celestion Vintage 30’s. With every great amp, you need a cab to do it justice. It doesn’t matter what the head is, it will sound dreadful through anything less than excellent.

Think about the cab sitting under your amp at the moment. Does it really lend itself to the sound of your amplifier? The range of cabinets from Orange are built to their strictest quality standards, to deliver the finest sound from whatever you use to boost your guitar. After they’ve spent so many years refining their amplifiers, they wouldn’t have it any other way.

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

4×12

4×12 refers to a speaker cabinet configuration using four 12-inch speakers, traditionally associated with large guitar rigs and high-volume performance. This setup delivers a powerful, full-bodied sound with strong low-end punch, projection, and natural compression.

4×12 cabinets are most commonly used with high-powered amp heads in rock and metal settings, where volume, sustain, and impact are important. They produce a wide, immersive sound that fills a room, but are larger and heavier than smaller cabinet options, making them best suited to stage use rather than compact setups.
