Description

The ESP LTD Eclipse 87 Left Handed is a throwback to ESPs late 80s roots combining vintage-inspired design with modern reliability. Based on the original TE-style Eclipse shape it stands apart from todays single-cut designs offering a slightly different feel and aesthetic. Built with a mahogany body and a three-piece maple neck it delivers a warm resonant tone with plenty of sustain and clarity making it well suited to classic rock and heavier styles alike. Equipped with a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and a 59 in the neck it covers everything from punchy driven tones to smoother more articulate sounds. A Floyd Rose 1000 locking tremolo allows for expressive pitch control while maintaining tuning stability and the push-pull control adds coil-splitting for extra tonal flexibility. With a neck-thru construction and 24-fret Macassar ebony fingerboard it offers smooth access across the entire neck making it a strong choice for players who want vintage ESP style with modern performance.

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Left Handed

Left-handed guitars are built specifically for left-handed players, with the body shape, controls, and string orientation reversed to provide a natural and comfortable playing experience. Available across electric, acoustic, classical, and bass styles, they offer the same variety of tones, features, and build quality as right-handed models. Using a properly designed left-handed guitar helps with balance, technique, and confidence, allowing players to focus on developing their sound without having to adapt to an instrument that doesn’t suit the way they play.
