The BOSS IR-2 Amp Simulator and Impulse Response Loader is ready to deliver your signature sound in any performance situation. With 11 premium amp characters paired to Celestion Digital IRs at your disposal youve got a huge sonic palette to draw from. Even better – each setting boasts exceptional Boss modelling quality thanks to the 32-bit floating-point processor and 96 kHz sampling rate offered by the IR-2. Whether youre plugged into a house PA system or your home studio setup youre guaranteed consistent and exciting tones – all in a tiny compact stomp! Once youve chosen your desired amp you can easily tweak your sound further with onboard Ambience Level Gain and 3-band EQ controls. On top of that you can patch in effects after the amp emulation by using the built-in effects loop and even load your own cabinet IRs using the USB interface. And with both the amp and cab sections able to be used independently youve got an almost endless plethora of customisation options – including the ability to switch between two amps/cabs with the footswitch or an external footswitch. Complete with headphone out for silent practice the Boss IR-2 covers all scenarios – all in a compact box thatll slot into any pedalboard.
