The Gibson Hummingbird Standard EC is a classic square shoulder acoustic with a cutaway for enhanced upper fret access. Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides it delivers a rich balanced tone with plenty of warmth and clarity. The iconic Hummingbird pickguard multi-ply binding and mother-of-pearl inlays give it a timeless look while the gloss nitro finish lets the wood resonate freely. Designed for both unplugged and amplified performance it features an L.R. Baggs VTC pickup for natural dynamic tone. The Round SlimTaper mahogany neck provides a smooth playing feel while the rosewood fingerboard ensures effortless fretting. TUSQ components enhance sustain and tuning stability and Grover Rotomatic tuners keep everything locked in place. Complete with a hardshell case this Hummingbird is ready for any stage or studio.
