The Fender Custom Shop 2026 Collection Time Machine Series 65 Precision Bass LCC Super Aged Violin Burst captures the unmistakable feel and tone of a mid-60s Precision Bass. A two-piece alder body is finished in Super Aged Violin Burst with a Deluxe Closet Classic nitro lacquer treatment recreating the subtle ageing of a treasured vintage instrument. At its heart is a Custom Shop hand-wound 65-70 Precision Bass pickup delivering the powerful low end rich midrange and unmistakable punch that have made the Precision Bass a cornerstone of popular music. A custom quartersawn maple neck is paired with a dark AAA round-laminated rosewood fingerboard for classic looks and a smooth familiar playing experience. The comfortable 60 Precision Bass Oval “C” profile vintage 7.25″ radius and vintage upgrade frets preserve authentic feel while premium Custom Shop construction ensures dependable performance on stage and in the studio. Supplied in a Fender Custom Shop black case this Time Machine Series model combines vintage-inspired styling with the meticulous build quality and attention to detail expected from Fenders master builders.
