Description

The Sire Marcus Miller P5R Bass Natural is a redesigned P-style bass built around Marcus Millers preferences and offering both vintage and modern tones. Its North American alder body uses the Sire Precision Bass Type shape providing a neutral tone with noticeable upper mids and an old-school sound suited to classic or contemporary music. A roasted hard maple neck is paired with a rosewood Edgeless fingerboard combining a vintage-inspired look and feel with smoothly rolled fretboard edges for comfortable playability. The Marcus Vintage-Fat Precision Revolution pickup provides the P5Rs core sound supported by straightforward passive electronics that preserve the basss true character. Dedicated volume and tone controls make overall adjustment simple while chrome knobs provide a coordinated finishing touch. A Marcus Miller Vintage-S bridge offers 20mm string spacing accompanied by premium open-gear tuning machines and chrome hardware. A tortoiseshell pickguard complements the Natural finish completing a bass designed for studio recording live performance and practice sessions.
