Description

The PRS Mark Tremonti MT15 Valve Head + 1×12 Cab Bundle is here to get you rocking with powerful high gain tones. Featuring Tremontis signature versatile two channel amp and his bespoke speaker cab youre equipped with everything you need. The amp has a portable “lunchbox” chassis and delivers 15 Watts of real valve tone through two 5881 power tubes. Despite its small size this amp can deliver both crystal-clean sounds alongside aggressive and articulate leads. A 7 Watt switchable low-power output gives access to the same great valve tones at a volume level more suited to home use or for practising. The MT15s drive channel has independent gain and level controls while the clean channel has an additional “pushed” mode meaning you can cover any gain level you require from high-headroom cleans through edge-of-breakup overdrives into all-out saturation for riffing and soloing. An additional FX loop and multiple speaker outputs let you adapt the MT15 to a wide variety of situations so whether youre practising rehearsing recording or gigging the MT15 will supply every sound you need.

Amp Cabinets

A speaker cabinet is responsible for turning your amplifier’s power into the sound you actually hear, and it plays a huge role in the overall feel and character of your tone. Different cabinet sizes, speaker types, and configurations can affect everything from low-end punch to clarity and projection. Cabinets can be open-back or closed-back, single or multi-speaker, each offering a distinct response and spread in a room. Whether paired with a powerful amp head or a compact setup, the right speaker cabinet helps define how your guitar sits in a mix and how it feels to play.

Amps

Guitar amps cover everything needed to amplify, shape, and project your guitar sound, from small practice setups to full stage and studio rigs. In this category you’ll find combo amps, separate amp heads and speaker cabinets, covering valve, solid-state, and hybrid designs, each offering a different feel and response. You’ll also see modelling and digital amps, built-in effects, footswitches, attenuation solutions, replacement speakers, valves, and essential accessories to keep an amp performing at its best. Whether you’re chasing pristine cleans, classic crunch, or modern high-gain tones, guitar amps and related gear are all about finding the right balance of power, tone, and control for the way you play.

1×12

1×12 refers to a speaker configuration with one 12-inch speaker, most commonly found in guitar amplifiers and speaker cabinets. It offers a balanced combination of clarity, low-end response, and projection, making it a versatile choice for both home use and live performance.

Compared to smaller speaker setups, a 1×12 delivers a fuller sound with more body, while remaining more compact and portable than larger multi-speaker cabinets. It is popular with players who want strong tone and punch without the weight and volume of a 2×12 or 4×12 setup.

Amp

An amp is an amplifier used to boost the signal from a guitar and shape its overall tone and volume. It plays a major role in how a guitar sounds, influencing everything from clean clarity to natural overdrive and distortion, and is a core part of any guitar setup for both practice and live performance.

Amp Head

Guitar amp heads contain the main tone-shaping and power section of an amplifier, designed to be paired with a separate speaker cabinet. They let you choose different cabinets to suit your sound and setup, offering flexibility for home, studio or live use. If you want control over volume, tone and character without being tied to a single combo format, amp heads give you a modular way to build the rig that works best for you.

Valve Amp

Valve amplifiers use vacuum tubes in part or all of the amplification path. Their response depends on circuit design, output stage, speaker load and operating level rather than valve technology alone. Compare power, channel structure, master volume, attenuation, speaker outputs and maintenance requirements.
