Its basswood Dinky body keeps the feel compact and balanced while a quilt maple top adds striking depth beneath the Midnight Ocean finish. Sculpted contours a scalloped lower back bout and a shredders cut heel allow effortless movement into the upper registers making fast lead work and technical playing feel natural and unrestricted. A bolt-on caramelised maple neck reinforced with graphite rods delivers excellent stability and a smooth broken-in feel thanks to its satin finish. The ebony fingerboard features a 12–16 inch compound radius rolled edges and 24 stainless steel jumbo frets. A pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers provides tight articulate gain and warm expressive cleans controlled by a five-way switch series or parallel mini toggle and no-load tone control. With a Wilkinson tremolo bridge locking tuners and a deluxe gig bag included this DK24 is ready to go.

About the manufacturer

Charvel

Charvel is an American guitar brand founded in the 1970s by Wayne Charvel, originally known for customising and hot-rodding Fender-style instruments. The company quickly became a favourite among rock and metal players for its fast-playing necks, high-output pickups, and sleek, performance-driven designs. Charvel guitars combine classic style with modern features, offering excellent playability and versatility for stage and studio use. Popular models like the Pro-Mod and San Dimas series are built for speed, precision, and tone, making Charvel a top choice across the UK for guitarists seeking professional quality and a true rock attitude.

More info about this Product

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Guitar

Explore electric, acoustic and bass guitars across a wide range of playing styles, body shapes and specifications. The most useful differences include scale length, construction, pickup type, neck profile, materials and whether the instrument is intended for amplified, acoustic or hybrid use. Use the narrower guitar categories and feature tags to compare instruments with similar designs rather than relying on appearance alone.

HH

HH describes a guitar pickup configuration with two humbuckers, one in the neck position and one at the bridge. This setup delivers a powerful, full-bodied sound with strong output, reduced noise, and plenty of sustain, making it well suited to rock, blues, metal, and heavier styles where warmth and punch are important.
