Description

The Epiphone Prophecy SG is a mean machine delivering cutting-edge modern tones and the latest in playing comfort all in a sleek outfit. Epiphone have completely revamped Prophecy guitars to look and feel more refined than ever before with a satin body and neck finish, new HyperGlide neck profile, compound radius fingerboard and stainless steel frets. They’re also powered by Fishman Fluence custom-voiced to Epiphone, giving you a recognisable option for PAF characteristics as well as a contemporary high-output active sizzle. This is a finely-tuned guitar for progressive players and demanding music. Crushing Fishman Fluence pickup tone Fishman are some of the most forward-thinking pickup designers in the game. Their multi-voice Fluence humbuckers bring three unique characteristics to the table: a high-output active tone – full, articulate and ultra-low noise suited to modern metal; a crystalline single-coil glassy spank; and a vintage, singing PAF sound exclusive to the Epiphone Prophecy. Although primarily a guitar excelling in how it handles high-gain aggressive tones, that incredible versatility makes the Prophecy an excellent choice for the current player whether you’re recording, performing live or in search of inspiring sounds. Modern playing feel Most Epiphone guitars have a traditional feel we still love, but the Prophecy shakes things up by catering to a purely modern playing experience. Those changes include a compound 10-14-inch radius ebony fretboard – a familiar curve at lower frets that flattens out significantly higher up the register. Factor in 24 stainless steel frets and this has become both a riff and solo beast of a guitar. The new HyperGlide “D” style neck profile allows for fluid movement in line with other shred-oriented guitars, especially as it’s combined with a silky smooth satin finish allowing for quick hand travel. The traditional 24.75-inch scale length has been greatly lengthened to a baritone 27”, meaning you can tune way lower for modern styles while holding a higher, tighter string tension. Bulletproof hardware and setup The Prophecy is built with a thermally aged one-piece mahogany neck, which is a process sapping the wood of the extra moisture that can cause warping when the instrument goes through changes to humidity. Add in the graphite rod reinforcement and you’ve got outstanding structural stability and long-term durability ideal for gigging players on the go. In the hardware department, the Grover locking tuners make string changes a breeze with no winding required, while also keeping strings firmly in place for reliable tuning stability. A graphite nut ensures low string action and consistent spacing, also contributes to solid tuning thanks to its hard-wearing material and precise construction. At the other end, Epiphone’s handy LockTone Modern bridge piece stays in place when you change out strings to lock in consistent string height. It takes influence from the Epiphone Frequensator, an archtop bridge design from the ‘40s that still excels at optimising for a balanced tension across all strings. Gig bag included A Protector Ultralite bag will be keeping your new Epiphone Prophecy safe from bumps and scrapes with the extra benefit of packing in your accessories in style – an excellent get included at this price.Key Features Revamped Prophecy range – a sharper, more refined style catering to high-performance players demanding the most of a modern guitar Custom-voiced Fishman Fluence pickups – outstanding aggressive tones for rock and metal with settings to tap into classic PAF humbucking voicing and glassy single-coil articulation Thermally aged mahogany neck and graphite rods – an excellent working player’s guitar changes to climate with minimal neck movement HyperGlide neck profile – a new non-stick neck topped with a 10-14-inch compound fretboard making this a riff and solo monster in equ…

SG

The Gibson SG (Solid Guitar) is a rock icon with attitude. Introduced in the early 1960s, it took the Les Paul’s power and gave it a sharper, lighter, double-cut design for faster access to higher frets. Its twin humbuckers deliver raw, biting tone and endless sustain — perfect for everything from blues to heavy rock. Played by legends like Angus Young and Tony Iommi, the SG proves that simplicity, style, and sheer power never go out of fashion.
