Description

Some notes from our professional in-store teamModel: Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Custom in Ebony 2024 Condition: This Guitar is in fairly good condition overall and does show some signs of use. This guitar has been gigged and used for what it was made for. There are the usual polishing swirls that you would come to expect from a high gloss ebony VOS finish, but there are some slightly deeper scratches on the top (but do not go through the top layer of laquer) and there are some deeper scratches (buckle rash across a wide area) on the back of the guitar as well as a slightly deeper groove in the shape of an “A” on the back. There are some very small dings/impression marks on the top and back and some very slight lacquer shrinkage under the top level binding near the strap button on the lower bout. Frets 1 through 9 have some minor fret ware on the treble side. Lastly there are some small dings and chips to the top of the headstock. All of the ware is cosmetic and does not affect how the guitar plays, feels or sounds. Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Guitar

Explore electric, acoustic and bass guitars across a wide range of playing styles, body shapes and specifications. The most useful differences include scale length, construction, pickup type, neck profile, materials and whether the instrument is intended for amplified, acoustic or hybrid use. Use the narrower guitar categories and feature tags to compare instruments with similar designs rather than relying on appearance alone.

Les Paul

A Les Paul is a solid body electric guitar known for its thick, powerful tone, strong sustain, and classic single-cutaway shape. It is commonly associated with warm, rich sounds and is well suited to rock, blues, jazz, and heavier styles, thanks to its mahogany body, carved top, and typically humbucker-loaded pickups that deliver depth, punch, and smooth overdrive characteristics.

Check the merchant description and photographs carefully because a used item may disappear as soon as that specific example is sold.
