The Ibanez Tube Screamer Mini Overdrive Pedal is In stock available now for fast UK delivery online for £49.99 + Delivery. This excellent piece of kit is manufactured by Ibanez and in New condition and comes with a great warranty.

The Ibanez Tube Screamer is one of the most beloved pedals in the world. Its ability to be used as a medium to low gain overdrive as well as being able to run as a clean or low gain boost made this a very popular pedal. This Mini Tubescreamer will fit on even the smallest of pedalboards without losing any quality of the original signal.

No matter where you go finding a guitarist who has not at least owned a tube screamer at some point can be a bit tricky. They have become a kind of industry standard and this new small and affordable version is now the best value way to get the sound.

As an Overdrive Pedal

While it may not be as smooth as the TS808 this still offers a beautiful overdrive sound that really makes the midrange pop out. This mid range peak is amazing in live situations when you need to pop through the mix for your next solo. Don’t want as much of a peak in the midrange- No problem just lower the tone control and you get a smoother rhythm overdrive tone.

As a Clean Boost

A lot of overdrive pedals with the gain turned down make great clean boosts but nothing sounds like a tube screamer. Even when turned down to 0 you still get a little bit of overdrive but the tone is more consistent with a clean boost like circuit. You just need to turn on this pedal once and you will hear how it just gives your clean sound that little bit of grit whenever you need it.

As a High Gain Boost

In recent years the metal guys have got their hands on tube screamers and have used them add a different dynamic to their high gain sounds. The tube screamer not only adds a bit of gain but also gives your sound more bite and attack which is what you need when you want to get into fast gated high gain rhythms.

Overdrive

Overdrive is a type of guitar effect that simulates the natural distortion that occurs when a tube amplifier is pushed beyond its clean limit. Overdrive pedals achieve this by boosting the input signal of the guitar, causing the amplifier to saturate and produce a warm, saturated, and crunchy sound.

Overdrive pedals are commonly used in various styles of music, including rock, blues, and punk, to add grit, sustain, and harmonic richness to the guitar’s sound. They are versatile tools that can be used to achieve a wide range of tones, from subtle breakup to full-on distortion, depending on the settings and the amplifier being used. Some classic examples of overdrive pedals include the Ibanez Tube Screamer, the Boss OD-1, and the Fulltone OCD, among others

About Ibanez

We have new and used Ibanez gear available on our website for fast direct delivery direct to you from across sellers in all areas of the USA & UK.

The Hoshino Gakki company began in 1908 as the musical instrument sales division of the Hoshino Shoten, a bookstore chain. Hoshino Gakki decided in 1935 to make Spanish-style acoustic guitars, at first using the “Ibanez Salvador” brand name in honor of Spanish luthier Salvador Ibáñez, and later simply “Ibanez”.

In the 1970s, the Nisshin Onpa company who owned the Maxon brand name, developed and began selling a series of effect pedals in Japan. Hoshino Gakki licensed these for sale using the name Ibanez outside Japan. These two companies eventually began doing less and less business together until Nisshin Onpa ceased manufacturing the TS-9 reissue for Hoshino Gakki in 2002.
