Here’s what Marshall Say

Loaded with just two Celestion® G12T Vintage speakers, the 2536 makes great sense if you want the classic Marshall® sound and look, but have restricted space – whether that’s on stage or in your project studio. It pairs well with Marshall’s smaller heads, like the 2525 Mini Jubilee, or DSL15™, and makes for a striking alternative to a 2 x 12” combo.

The 2536 differs from the 1936™ only by its speakers; it’s loaded with Celestion G12 Vintage speakers. The result is a creamier higher-end response, which sounds slightly warmer than the G12T-75s used in the 1936. The 2536 can be used in mono or stereo mode, without the need to switch.

Marshall, a renowned name in the guitar amplifier world, also produces a line of guitar effect pedals that reflect the company’s dedication to delivering high-quality tones and maintaining their reputation for iconic sound. Marshall’s pedals are designed to complement their amplifiers and offer a range of classic and modern effects for guitarists.

Here are some notable Marshall guitar effect pedals and series to consider:

Marshall Jackhammer JH-1: The Jackhammer pedal is an overdrive/distortion pedal known for its versatility. It provides various levels of gain, allowing players to achieve both classic rock crunch and heavier distortion tones. The pedal also includes multiple EQ settings for shaping your sound.
Marshall Guv’nor GV-2: The Guv’nor pedal is a classic distortion pedal that has been a staple in Marshall’s lineup for years. It’s favored for its ability to produce rich, saturated distortion tones, ranging from bluesy overdrive to hard-rocking distortion.
Marshall Echohead EH-1: This pedal offers a variety of delay effects, including analog, tape, and digital delay simulations. It provides versatility in delay sounds and features tap tempo functionality for precise control over your delay settings.
Marshall Regenerator RG-1: The Regenerator is a modulation pedal that offers various modulation effects, including chorus, phaser, flanger, and more. It’s known for its flexibility and range of modulation tones.
Marshall Reflector RF-1 Reverb: This pedal focuses on delivering lush and ambient reverb effects. It offers various reverb types, such as hall, plate, and spring, to add depth and spaciousness to your guitar sound.

Marshall’s pedals often embody the classic Marshall tone, aiming to replicate the sound of their iconic amplifiers in a pedal format. The brand emphasizes build quality and reliability, making their pedals suitable for both studio and stage use.

When considering which Marshall pedal to choose, it’s essential to consider your preferred playing style, the type of tones you’re seeking, and the specific effects that suit your musical needs. Trying out the pedals if possible, watching demos, and reading reviews can assist in making an informed decision about which Marshall effect pedal would be the ideal addition to your pedalboard.
