GPAS – ebay Store

GPAS has an ebay store where I mostly offer guitars pedals amps & guitar effects that are not new, maybe used or ex-display and do not come with a box. i might sell anything here.

You can visit me on eBay to grab a bargain as I will add them up for auction or maybe buy it now.

who knows what will be up for offer next? if it stands still for too long I will sell it.

About eBay Feedback

whilst I love eBay for a bargain and it is a great place to sell things, it has its drawbacks when it comes to your seller reputation being damaged by buyer feedback.

I am 27 sales in and have a feedback score of 12. 100% positive, but 1 neutral?.. So it does not reflect the truth of anything, a poor statistic if there ever was of a seller’s reputation online. I strive for 100% as I care more than 100%.

What I dislike about eBay feedback.

I dislike the way the feedback system works. I do not like the way a customer can leave a comment without even contacting the seller first. It just shouldn’t be allowed, both the buyer and eBay should give the seller a chance to enter dialogue rather than assuming the customer is always right and not being unreasonable, in an emotional state, or misusing the feedback system to gain something. It is not a place to leave a review about a product, but the seller.

eBay v Real Life experiences
If you go into a real shop and buy something and then are not happy for whatever reason, go back into the shop and have a chat with the person you purchased it from. Talk about that product. If the shop owner is rude and tells you to fuck off then leave them a shit review.

BUT, If you go back and speak to them without being all emotional or paranoid, you might find that they have plenty of experience and can help you. You need to enter that dialogue, do not assume that you know best or that the seller will not help you. They are in this business because they do care. So give them a chance, do not assume.

The feedback system is a reflection of both the seller and customer working together if they need to. Towards a common goal – a Happy transaction that will not destroy their reputation.

When you leave feedback against a seller for anything you buy online, do not be unreasonable, you must enter a dialogue and sort it out. Feedback on eBay is also someone’s business, feedback online is very open to abuse by buyers.

If you don’t use any feedback system online fairly, then really it is your problem and leaving feedback against a seller when you haven’t contacted them is wrong and should not be allowed.

It is not the issue of a product or the seller.

It is good to talk.

So please exorcise your right. I encourage it.
