Description

The Blackstar FLY 3 High Gain Mini Amp is a compact 3W practice amp built for players who demand crushing modern gain without sacrificing portability. Expanding on the hugely successful FLY platform it introduces a dedicated Nitro channel that delivers aggressive saturation tight low-end punch and articulate distortion tailored for metal hard rock and punk. Alongside the familiar Clean and Overdrive channels it offers an impressive range of sounds in a compact format while the sealed cabinet and custom 3″ speaker produce a surprisingly full and powerful voice. Whether youre practising at home warming up backstage or travelling light the FLY 3 High Gain is designed to go wherever inspiration strikes. Blackstars patented ISF control lets you sweep from tight American-style tones to warmer British voicings while the built-in digital delay adds depth to your playing. An AUX input makes it easy to jam along with backing tracks and the emulated line/headphone output provides authentic tones for silent practice or direct recording. Powered by batteries or an optional DC supply it can be paired with the optional FLY 103 extension cabinet.

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Guitar

Explore electric, acoustic and bass guitars across a wide range of playing styles, body shapes and specifications. The most useful differences include scale length, construction, pickup type, neck profile, materials and whether the instrument is intended for amplified, acoustic or hybrid use. Use the narrower guitar categories and feature tags to compare instruments with similar designs rather than relying on appearance alone.
