Description

The Danelectro Dan O Cool is a vintage-inspired electric guitar that builds on the distinctive designs that made the brand famous. Its two 1950s-style Lipstick pickups retain the sweet harmonic-rich sparkle of the originals while adding extra output for a bolder response. The bridge pickup is 30% hotter and the neck pickup 20% hotter than vintage specifications giving this characterful Dano sound some additional punch and attitude. Classic appointments continue with a 1954-style Full Bell headstock 58-inspired Skate Key tuners and the rarely seen U3 pickguard design from 1955. A traditional rosewood saddle bridge contributes a naturally warm sweet response while an adjustable saddle bridge is also included for greater setup flexibility. With 21 frets E Standard tuning and a gloss finish the Dan O Cool combines distinctive retro character with useful modern practicality.
