Available from Guitar Pedals Amps & Stuff for only £ 289 – Twin-T Scoop The Twin-T Scoop mode adds bass and treble simultaneously for a scooped mid-range that works extremely well with metal styles. With a boosted low and high end the Apocalypse offers thick full and huge characteristics and allows you to create some intense metal tones. War fuzz War Fuzz delivers an extraordinary overdriven sound and soft distortion that results in a gnarly fuzz effect. This mode therefore offers a different fuzz effect to the Twin-T Scoop which is what makes the Apocalypse so incredible. There is certain to be a fuzz that will suit your own style that you can then shape even further to customise it. The War Fuzz has full and thick dynamic tones with plenty of sustain for a harmonic fuzz. Dual J-FET This mode is fairly similar to War Fuzz though it features dual J-FETs for increased girth resulting in a more open tone. The Dual J-FET mode offers fat balanced tones that are ideal for the artist looking for a more subtle fuzz effect. Octave Rect Octave Rect does exactly as it says and delivers a harmonic singing octave up tone. It achieves this by summing the bottom and top halves of a waveform in order to present an intense octave up sound that is ideal for creating a versatile and dynamic performance. Gain x1000 The Gain x1000 is pretty self explanatory as it produces insane amounts of gain in order to blow your audience away. The gain is cranked incredibly high for a monster of a sound for some strange and aggressive results. Distortion

Distortion is a guitar effect that alters the signal’s waveform, creating a gritty, aggressive sound characterized by a high level of harmonic content and sustain. It’s achieved by amplifying the input signal to the point where the amplifier or pedal’s circuitry begins to clip, causing the waveform to become squared off and jagged. This clipping produces harmonics that weren’t present in the original signal, resulting in the characteristic “gritty” or “dirty” tone associated with distortion. Distortion pedals typically feature controls for adjusting the amount of gain or distortion applied, as well as tone-shaping knobs to tailor the sound’s frequency response. Distortion is widely used in rock, metal, and punk music to add power, aggression, and sustain to guitar solos, riffs, and rhythm parts, creating a bold and intense sonic impact in the mix. Popular distortion pedals include the Boss DS-1, Pro Co Rat, and Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi.
