Description

The DOD Drag Analog Delay Pedal takes classic analogue delay into entirely new territory with a feature set designed for adventurous players. Built around authentic analogue BBD circuitry it delivers everything from tight rockabilly slapback echoes to expansive modulated ambient textures. With up to 750ms of delay time extended to 1.5 seconds when using Rubbernecking mode the Drag combines vintage warmth with innovative real-time manipulation tools that push far beyond the capabilities of a conventional delay pedal. Its compact top-jack design also keeps your pedalboard tidy without sacrificing functionality. At the heart of the Drag are DODs unique Friction effects including SlideStop Rubberneck and Evade modes which allow dramatic delay-time warping controlled directly from the footswitch. The Drift control adds modulation with selectable sine reverse saw square and random waveforms while dedicated controls for time feedback filter level drift and friction provide extensive sound-shaping potential. Add controllable runaway oscillation multiple bypass modes optional FS3X expansion and a reversible StagePlate for optimised pedalboard use and the Drag becomes a powerful creative tool for players seeking inspiring analogue delay sounds.

Analog

Analog effects use traditional electronic circuits rather than digital processing to shape the guitar signal. They are valued for their warm, natural sound, smooth response, and organic character, making them a popular choice for players who prefer classic tones and a more immediate playing feel.

Delay

Delay is an effect that records the guitar signal and plays it back after a short period of time, creating an echo or repeat. By adjusting the time, feedback, and level, delay can add subtle depth and space or produce rhythmic, expressive repeats that enhance lead lines, ambient textures, and overall atmosphere.
