Sine is a smooth waveform which are familiar of the amp-like vibrato whereas Triangle is a sharper and more pronounced waveform. Ramp is similar to a triangle wave yet it features a sharp sonar pulse with a quick downward slope and Square waved are fixed and have an on-off characteristic. Random is especially strange as it does exactly as it says and you will have no idea what it will bring next. Finally there are three Envelope modes that include Envelope Controlled Depth Rate and Pitch for even more tonal options.
