The EarthQuaker Devices Astral Destiny Octal Octave Reverb uses detailed controls and two separate modes of operation to give you ultimate control over just how expansive and ethereal your tone is. First select between Live Mode or Preset Mode: Live allows each control to be altered manually whereas Preset offers stock settings for each mode. These stock settings can be saved and replaced at any time from the eight available slots. Then choose reverb Mode between eight modulated octave reverbs. From there use the five remaining knobs to alter the reverbs spacial qualities. You can even choose whether you want tails or not; tails allows the reverb to naturally decay after the effect is bypassed whereas Full Bypass mode cuts the effect entirely once disengaged.
