The Epiphone 1942 Banner J-45 Reissue is a faithful recreation of one of the most iconic acoustic guitars ever made. Built in collaboration with Gibson Custom, it features a thermally aged solid spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides, delivering the warm, balanced tone that made the original J-45 a legend. Classic details like the teardrop pickguard, ivory top binding and mother-of-pearl inlays capture the look and feel of the vintage 1942 models. Modern reliability meets old-school charm with a V-shaped mahogany neck, Indian rosewood fretboard and bone nut and saddle. The onboard L.R. Baggs Element Bronze VTC system ensures you’re ready to take the stage or hit the studio with clear, natural tone. Complete with open-back tuners and a Red Line-inspired hardshell case, this reissue offers timeless tone and craftsmanship in a stage-ready package.
