Based on one of Gibson’s most beloved and requested Bass models of the 1970s, the Epiphone Grabber reinstates this legendary 4-string powerhouse into the mainstream! Available in either Ebony or Natural, both with a Maple neck and fingerboard the Grabber looks as good as it sounds. Its single Humbucking pickup provides thunderous lows that will bed any mix and shake any room. For even more tonal options the Grabber pickup is wired to a coil-splitting mini-switch for a more cutting single-coil bass tone.

Key Features

  • Versatile: Go from an ear-deafening humbucking punch to a pronounced single-coil tone at the flip of a switch.
  • Included Gig Bag: Easily take your Grabber Bass from home to studio to gig with the included Premium Gig Bag.

Here’s What Epiphone Says About the Grabber Bass:

Players have been requesting a reissue of this model for decades, and Epiphone has heard you! The Epiphone Grabber Bass is an Inspired by Gibson reissue of the vintage 70s era classic that has been played by everyone from Gene Simmons and Krist Novoselicto to Mike Dirnt and Lou Barlow, to name a few. The Epiphone Grabber features a three-piece alder body, a 34” scale three-piece maple neck with 20 frets, and an Epiphone Bass Humbucker pickup that delivers earth-quaking lows and solid, punchy midrange. The pickup is wired to master volume and tone controls, as well as a coil-splitting mini toggle switch for even more tonal options. A premium gig bag is also included.

Available in electric and acoustic forms, they focus on delivering strong, controlled low frequencies while remaining clear and responsive to playing dynamics. Factors like scale length, string type, and pickup design all influence tone and feel, allowing bass guitars to suit a wide range of styles and techniques. Whether laying down solid grooves or exploring more melodic lines, a good bass guitar anchors the music and brings everything together.

Natural

Natural guitars showcase the beauty of the wood itself, with finishes that highlight the grain, colour, and character of each piece. Favoured by players who appreciate simplicity and authenticity, natural finishes let the instrument’s craftsmanship and tonewoods speak for themselves. Whether it’s the warm glow of mahogany or the bright shimmer of maple, a natural guitar has a timeless, organic look that never goes out of style. These instruments often feel more connected to their acoustic roots, offering both visual elegance and a sense of purity that appeals to musicians across all genres.
