The EVH 5150 III 50W EL34 Valve Amp Head delivers the same tone shaping capabilities, lethal looks, and beautifully ferocious tones of the 5150 III 100W EL34 amp in a compact 50 watt version. Its three powerful channels are equipped with independent volume and gain controls, with a 3-band EQ, universal presence, and reverb controls allowing players to dial in a variety of amazing tones suitable for a wide range of musical styles. Its ECC83S (12AX7) preamp tubes and EL34 power tubes provide players incredibly powerful soundscapes, offering plenty of saturation, sustain, and classic sag to deliver the iconic ”British” sound. The amp head is also equipped with parallel speaker outputs with a selectable impedance, MIDI in, headphone out, preamp out, and an FX loop. Delivered with a 4-button channel footswitch, the EVH 5150 III EL34 Valve Amp Head delivers the same tone and feel as the 100W model in a more compact unit.
