The EVH 5150 Series Deluxe QM Baked Maple Pacific Drift is built for players who demand speed precision and unmistakable EVH attitude. Its modified Strat-style basswood body with a quilt maple top and gorgeous Pacific Drift finish delivers striking visual depth as well as balanced tonal response. The deeper upper body contour improves comfort and high-fret access making this instrument equally suited to aggressive rhythm work and soaring lead passages. A graphite-reinforced bolt-on quartersawn baked maple neck features Eddie Van Halens modified “C” profile and a hand-rubbed satin finish for a fast naturally worn-in feel. The 12″-16″ compound-radius baked maple fingerboard with jumbo frets supports tight riffing and wide expressive bends without fretting out. Direct-mount EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbuckers provide articulate punch and saturated sustain while the Floyd Rose tremolo with EVH D-Tuna and onboard kill switch delivers exceptional flexibility for dive-bombs drop-D shifts and rhythmic stutter effects.
