The Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Jazz Bass Special NOS in Aged Sonic Blue blends classic offset style with the precision craftsmanship of the Fender Custom Shop. Built with a two-piece select ash body and finished in thin nitrocellulose lacquer this bass offers resonant tone vintage-inspired aesthetics and the kind of attention to detail expected from a top-tier Custom Shop instrument. Custom Shop hand-wound single-coil Jazz Bass pickups provide the articulate punch growl and dynamic response that have made the Jazz Bass a staple of countless recordings since the early 60s. The quartersawn maple neck carved to a 1960 Jazz Bass U profile pairs with a 3A rosewood fingerboard for smooth playability and classic feel. Combined with a modern RSD HiMass bridge for improved sustain and stability this limited edition bass delivers vintage character with dependable modern performance.
