You think Rotary Pedals are boring? Think again! Fender has created the Pinwheel Rotary Speaker Emulator that’ll blow your mind!

This pedal features not one, not two, but three different rotary speaker modes, including Fender’s very own Vibratone effect. The Pinwheel pedal makes it easy to add this swirling sound to your tonal toolbox. Stereo inputs and selectable voicings mean this pedal can slot seamlessly in to your existing rig.

You’ve got dual switchable speeds on tap for you to mess with and a smidgen of overdrive to give your sound that little extra colour. Similar to the Fender Bubbler Chorus pedal, the on-board sensitivity control allows modulation rate changes based on your playing dynamics. The effect gets more intense, the harder you play!

Designed by Fenders in-house team, the Pinwheel is an all-original Fender circuit and comes in a stylish polished-style chassis. On the top plate, you’ll also find the option to switch LEDs, voicing from guitar to keys and dynamics. It’ll also take an expression pedal too! A great introduction to rotary speaker effects for musicians of all abilities and styles.

Here's what Fender say about the Pinwheel Rotary Speaker Emulator

A classic sound achieved with an organ speaker and amplifier, rotary speaker effects have become an integral part of modern music. Featuring three different rotary speaker voices, including our very own Vibratone effect, The Pinwheel makes it easy to add this swirling sound to your tonal toolbox. Switchable Slow and Fast speeds let you spin up the perfect sound for your music, while the onboard Overdrive adds some texture to your tone. The Sensitivity control allows modulation rate changes based on your playing dynamics—dig in and the effect gets more intense.

Designed by our in-house team of experts, The Pinwheel Rotary Speaker Emulator is an all-original Fender circuit. To ensure this pedal is performance-ready we let musicians kick it around, took their feedback to heart and refined it. The chassis is crafted from lightweight, durable anodized aluminium, and the Amp Jewel LED gives your pedalboard the classic Fender look. The LED-backlit knobs show your control settings on a dark stage at a glance.

Plug into The Pinwheel and add the lush, rich sound of a rotary speaker to your bag of tone tricks.

Fender, a legendary brand in the guitar world primarily known for their guitars and amplifiers, has also delved into producing guitar effects pedals. Fender’s pedal lineup includes a variety of effects designed to complement their instruments and amplifiers while offering quality tones and versatility.

Here are some notable Fender guitar pedals:

Fender Pugilist Distortion: This pedal offers a wide range of distortion tones, from subtle grit to heavy distortion, with two gain circuits that can be blended together.
Fender Mirror Image Delay: A versatile delay pedal with digital, analog, and tape delay modes, along with modulation and multiple parameter controls for creating diverse delay sounds.
Fender Marine Layer Reverb: This pedal provides various reverb types, including hall, room, and special effects reverbs, with adjustable parameters like damping and pre-delay.
Fender Santa Ana Overdrive: A high-quality overdrive pedal featuring FET technology for tube-like overdrive tones, along with a flexible three-band EQ and dual gain stage settings.
Fender MTG Tube Tremolo: This pedal recreates the warm, pulsating tremolo effect found in vintage amplifiers, offering diverse wave shapes and a tube-like response.
Fender Downtown Express Bass Multi-Effect: Although designed for bass, it can also be used for guitar. This pedal combines compression, EQ, and overdrive in one unit, providing flexibility for shaping tone.

Fender’s pedals aim to capture the essence of their renowned amplifiers’ tones while providing modern features and versatility. They’ve been well-received for their solid construction, user-friendly controls, and the ability to produce classic Fender tones.

As with any effects pedals, the choice depends on individual preferences in terms of sound, functionality, and intended use. Trying out these pedals firsthand or listening to demos can help determine which Fender pedal best suits your musical style and needs.
