The Fulltone Full-Drive1 Overdrive Pedal is In stock available now for fast UK delivery online for £149 + Delivery. This excellent piece of kit is manufactured by Fulltone and in New condition and comes with a great warranty.

We can't believe the Fulltone Fulldrive has already been in production for around 20 years. Although there have been many different versions there are a lot of people who swear by the late 90's or early 2000's models.

Now they are bringing back that original circuit in a new single pedal casing. A smaller, affordable version of one of the best pedals Fulltone have ever made. The Fulltone Full-Drive 1 is a serious contender for space on your pedalboard.

What made the original Full Drive sound so good was the tonal toggle switch. These changed the overall tone of the pedal quickly and easily. Flat-Mids, Vintage and infamous comp-cut modes can all be found on this pedal.

Here's what Fulltone say about the FullDrive 1

Yes it's true, finally the sound of a late 90s to early 2000s Fulldrive with-OUT the boost channel! Simple as it comes… with Volume, Tone, Drive, and toggle bringing back the Flat-Mids (FM), Vintage, and the infamous (for assaulting the front end of tube amps) Comp-Cut (CC) modes. Also has the incredible internally switchable "Enhanced Bypass" or "True-Bypass" a Fulltone exclusive (yah roll your eyes… until you try a FD1 or OCD V2 when it's turned off in EB mode!)

Soundwise? I'm talking about the exact (full midrange) Comp-Cut that was in the earliest FD2s, not the Flatter mids CC in later models. So even though the FD-1 will have the Flat-Mids mode, the Comp-Cut is the fuller-mids version identical to the "pre FM / pre-MOSFET" versions of the FD2. This tiny pedal is the size of our Mas-Malo, with top-mounted (also called rear mounted) jacks & power port, and a JRC4558 chip for your go-to overdrive sound. Come home.

Overdrive

Overdrive is a type of guitar effect that simulates the natural distortion that occurs when a tube amplifier is pushed beyond its clean limit. Overdrive pedals achieve this by boosting the input signal of the guitar, causing the amplifier to saturate and produce a warm, saturated, and crunchy sound.

Overdrive pedals are commonly used in various styles of music, including rock, blues, and punk, to add grit, sustain, and harmonic richness to the guitar’s sound. They are versatile tools that can be used to achieve a wide range of tones, from subtle breakup to full-on distortion, depending on the settings and the amplifier being used. Some classic examples of overdrive pedals include the Ibanez Tube Screamer, the Boss OD-1, and the Fulltone OCD, among others
