The Gibson Custom 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS is a meticulously crafted recreation of the “Holy Grail” of guitars. Featuring a hand-selected figured maple top solid mahogany body and a Washed Cherry Sunburst finish it delivers the iconic look and feel of the original 59 Standard. Every detail from the Royalite binding to the authentic profile pickup covers is true to the era. Equipped with unpotted Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups CTS pots and paper-in-oil capacitors it produces the articulate dynamic tones that defined a generation of rock music. With a 50s Rounded Medium C neck hide-glue construction and vintage-correct hardware this Les Paul lives up to its legendary name.
