Description

The Gibson Custom 1963 Dove Light Aged is a beautifully detailed recreation of one of Gibsons most iconic square-shoulder acoustics. With a thermally aged Sitka spruce top and flamed maple back and sides it delivers a lively bright tone that cuts through while still carrying plenty of warmth. Finished in Murphy Labs Light Aged treatment it looks and feels like a well-played vintage original from the golden era. A longer 25.5″ scale length adds extra snap and sustain while the round mahogany neck and Indian rosewood fretboard keep it smooth and comfortable to play. From the ornate Dove pickguard to the rosewood bridge with mother-of-pearl inlays every detail is unmistakably Dove. Supplied in a period-correct hardshell case its a faithful throwback with all the vibe and charm of a true classic.

They come in a wide range of styles, including steel string and classical designs, each with its own feel and tonal character. Body shape, wood choice, and construction all influence warmth, projection, and balance, making acoustics suitable for everything from gentle fingerstyle to confident strumming. Whether used for songwriting, practice, or performance, acoustic guitars provide a simple, honest connection between the player and the music.
