The Gibson Custom 1964 Trini Lopez Standard Reissue VOS Sixties Cherry #140226 is a Semi-Hollow from the brand Gibson Custom Shop that gives plenty, a solid weapon in any arsenal. The Gibson Custom 1964 Trini Lopez Standard Reissue VOS is a faithful recreation of a true classic. Based on scans of the original models it delivers the iconic look feel and tone of the 60s legend. The 3-ply maple/poplar/maple body with a solid maple centerblock provides incredible resonance and sustain while the distinctive diamond soundholes and single diamond trapeze tailpiece set it apart from traditional semi-hollow designs. Equipped with unpotted Custombucker Alnico III pickups this guitar offers a dynamic vintage-voiced tone with rich warmth and clarity. The medium C mahogany neck long tenon joint and Indian rosewood fingerboard ensure a comfortable playing experience staying true to the 64 original. Finished in a nitrocellulose VOS patina and featuring nickel hardware Kluson tuners and a black/yellow Custom Shop hardshell case this is a guitar that pays homage to the legendary Trini Lopez.
