Description

The Gibson Custom 1968 Les Paul Custom Bigsby Double Gold Ultra is a limited edition model from Gibsons Greatest Hits Collection. Finished in a luxurious Double Gold nitrocellulose lacquer it pairs a maple top with a mahogany body a combination that has made the Les Paul a favourite for decades. Murphy Lab Ultra Light ageing gives it the appearance of a carefully preserved original adding character while retaining its premium presentation. Combined with a Bigsby B7 vibrato and gold hardware throughout it offers a distinctive take on one of Gibsons most celebrated designs. Built with exceptional attention to detail the guitar features a one-piece mahogany neck with an authentic 68 Medium C profile an ebony fretboard with mother-of-pearl block inlays and a long tenon neck joint for enhanced resonance. A pair of unpotted CustomBucker pickups recreate the character of late-60s Gibson humbuckers delivering rich cleans singing sustain and authoritative overdriven tones. Supplied with a Gibson Custom hardshell case and certificate of authenticity this limited-run Les Paul Custom combines vintage style premium craftsmanship and unmistakable stage presence.
