Description
The Gibson J-45 60s Original Fixed Bridge is a round-shoulder dreadnought acoustic guitar that combines the celebrated J-45 design with contemporary electronics. First introduced in 1942 the J-45 has become a cornerstone of Gibsons acoustic range renowned for its lively unmistakable voice. A solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides provide the classic tonewood combination while the fixed rosewood bridge with bone saddle supports dependable tuning stability and consistent performance. The comfortable Round-profile mahogany neck features a 24.75-inch scale length and rosewood fretboard complemented by traditional mother-of-pearl dot inlays. For amplified performance the Gibson-exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA pickup system reproduces the instruments natural acoustic character with impressive accuracy and feedback resistance. Discreet soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls allow adjustments during performances. Completing the 60s-inspired design are a larger pickguard Grover strap tuners and gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish.
