The Guild DS-240 Memoir Slope Shoulder Acoustic is a classy vintage inspired instrument. Serving up powerful resonant tones thanks to its dreadnought shape its ideal for any player who wants a rich tonality married with a retro aesthetic. And not only that but its a joy to play thanks to its sloped shoulder design which it lets it sit comfortably in the lap in addition to its throwback appeal. Built with a solid Sitka spruce top you can expect plenty of high-end shimmer and clarity from the DS-240. Even better its backed up by a scalloped X bracing that focuses and enhances your volume in addition to providing an even thicker low end. Add to that the mahogany back sides and neck and youve got an enormous depth and presence in each strum and a fully voiced spectrum of tones. As a result the DS-240 Memoir is more than capable of whatever your want to play from old bluesy fingerpicked licks of days gone by or powerful chord ballads of modern singer songwriters.
