Description

The Guild Starfire I Double Cut combines iconic semi-hollow Guild styling with modern versatility and smooth playability. Featuring a beautifully resonant semi-hollow mahogany body with elegant double-cutaway contours the Starfire I DC delivers the warm airy character associated with classic vintage electric guitars while remaining focused enough for modern live performance. Its chambered mahogany centre block improves sustain and helps reduce unwanted feedback making it equally capable in the studio and on stage. Loaded with a pair of Guild HB-2 humbuckers featuring Alnico II magnets the Starfire I DC produces warm PAF-inspired tones with exceptional clarity articulation and dynamic response. Push/pull coil-split controls greatly expand the tonal range by unlocking brighter single-coil-style textures. The mahogany neck uses Guilds Modern Thin U profile for a smooth and comfortable feel while the Indian rosewood fingerboard provides warmth. Combined with premium Guild hardware a Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop tailpiece the Starfire I DC blends vintage-inspired tone with modern performance.
