Description

The Ibanez AG95MG Artcore Expressionist is a full-hollow electric guitar designed for players who want rich traditional tone in a slightly more compact and manageable body size. With the same depth as larger jazz guitars but a narrower body width it delivers a warm open and resonant sound while remaining comfortable and responsive in the hands. This balance makes it well suited to extended playing sessions offering classic hollow-body character without the bulk often associated with larger archtop designs. A mango top back and sides provide a balanced natural tonal character with plenty of resonance paired with a smooth-playing nyatoh and maple set neck. Super 58 pickups deliver the warm articulate voice that has made them a favourite with jazz players while still responding beautifully to blues soul and clean fusion styles. Finished in Dark Amber and fitted with quality hardware throughout the AG95MG offers classic hollow-body tone with modern reliability and refined playability.

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

The most useful differences include scale length, construction, pickup type, neck profile, materials and whether the instrument is intended for amplified, acoustic or hybrid use. Use the narrower guitar categories and feature tags to compare instruments with similar designs rather than relying on appearance alone.
