Description

The Ibanez AW247CE Weathered Black is a Classical Guitar from the brand Ibanez that gives plenty, a solid weapon in any arsenal. The Ibanez AW247CE-WKH is a part of the Artwood series blending traditional elements with modern construction to deliver the ultimate guitar tone. With a solid Okoume top the guitar offers a full-bodied and warm mid-range along with a bright tone. The Okoume back and sides produce a woody warm tone when played softly or finger-picked while providing punchy high-mids with clear projection when strummed. Equipped with an Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle pickup the AW247CE-WKH precisely translates the guitars full sound to any amplification system. The Ibanez AEQ-TP2 preamp adds extra punch with onboard EQ and includes a convenient digital tuner and 2-band EQ for easy adjustments located on the upper bout. The Nyatoh neck enhances the guitars rich mid-low end and the Ovangkol fretboard ensures greater playing comfort. Featuring an Ovangkol bridge the AW247CE-WKH transfers string vibration directly to the body resulting in a natural and warm tone. The Ibanez Advantage bridge pins are a great advantage compared to standard pins as they are easy to remove and insert thanks to their bulb-shaped end that also prevents them from being pushed in too far. With its wider fretboard the Ibanez AW247CE-WKH provides a more comfortable playing experience especially for those with bigger hands or transitioning from classical guitar with a wide neck.
